My route into photography was a fairly traditional one. My Grandfather bought me my first camera on my 8th birthday and by the age of 16 I was spending much of my time in our high school darkroom developing photos.

I moved from Canada to the UK at age 20 and obtained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Photography from Hereford College of Arts. It was whilst in the wonderful college library one day that I first discovered the joy of interiors magazines. I was hooked and started to dream of working as an interior design photographer.

I feel extremely lucky to be doing my dream job. I love the process of working collaboratively with my clients on shoots, shooting tethered to my laptop and tweaking each photo set up until we’re all happy with the end result.

One of my favourite things is when I see that my clients have downloaded the edited photos as soon as they’ve arrived in their inbox and do an Instagram post shortly after.
